On 10th January 2019 there was an information meeting for parent(s)/guardian(s) on the different programmes to choose from within senior cycle. A letter was distributed to the students. Please click here to view letter. 

All monies collected by this school are used to pay for a range of Student Support Services which may include student journal, locker rental, student insurance, texts to parents, book rental scheme, photocopying costs, student materials, student mock examinations and educational outings.

Please note that the implementation of the above policy took effect on 26th November 2018. We advise that all parents/guardians read and make themselves aware of the new policy and note the conditions therein.

Scoil Dara Parents Association hosted a careers night in Scoil Dara on 8th November 2018. It was a very informative night for students and parents. Multiple professionals were available on the night to advise on career paths.

A meeting took place on Thursday, 18th October in Scoil Dara regarding 1st year subject options choice.

There were lots of problem solving contests/quizzes going on in Scoil Dara during maths week. 

The 11th October was Scoil Dara’s Random Acts of Kindness Day.  Students, Teachers and Staff participated in random acts of kindness throughout the day.

Mental Health and Wellbeing week aimed to raise awareness of positive mental health and promote the importance of wellbeing for both students and staff, as well as adding to the positive atmosphere of the school.
