Seachtain na Gaeilge ran from 1st - 17th March 2017. Scoil Dara's Irish Department undertook a number of activities in the school to celebrate this occasion. Activities included poster competitions, quizzes, gearrscannáin, a céilí with some year groups and events finished with a "Lá Ceilteach" on March 16^th. This took the form of a "No Uniform Day" and students entered into the spirit of the occasion and wore something green for the day. We encourage all staff and students to try and speak Irish when they can. "Tír le teanga, tír le hanam!" There were prizes for best effort and €1,007.81 was raised on the day for St. Vincent de Paul in Kilcock and Jigsaw from our non-uniform day organised by our TY students in 4C & 4D. Well done everyone!
