It is a pleasure to welcome you to our schools website. Scoil Dara is a happy school where we aim to provide the best educational experience and developmental opportunities for our students. In Scoil Dara we value effort, hard work, respect, personal responsibility, kindness and collaboration. Through our website we want you to familiarise yourself with our school, its history, values and mission. We want to introduce you to our students, staff and Board of Management. Climate Action Week

Maths Week in Scoil Dara


Scoil Dara organised many maths activities in school during Maths Week (16th – 20th October). Senior Students undertook a PRISM contest (Problem solving for Second level Mathematicians) and maths puzzles and games took place in class for all students during. Health and Wellbeing Week


Scoil Dara ran a Health and Wellbeing Week (9 - 13 October) which coincided with 'World Mental Health Day' on 10 October. The aim of the week was to create awareness around mental health, promote health and wellbeing, as well as adding to the positive atmosphere of the school. A Schedule of Activities was planned for the week. Thanks to all involved in co-ordinating and promoting the week's activities. Click here to view the Schedule of Activities.

On 12th October Students, Teachers and Staff of Scoil Dara participated in random acts of kindness throughout the day.

European Day of Languages


There were many activities organised in Scoil Dara as part of ‘European Day of Languages’ at the end of September. Some of the activities included students making announcements in their native language; sampling food from some of the students native countries; making posters with greetings in various languages; competitions, quizzes, games, songs, movies, presentations, discussions in various languages and much more!
