Scoil Dara organised many maths activities in school during Maths Week (16th – 20th October). Senior Students undertook a PRISM contest (Problem solving for Second level Mathematicians) and maths puzzles and games took place in class for all students during. Scoil Dara ran a Health and Wellbeing Week (9 - 13 October) which coincided with 'World Mental Health Day' on 10 October. The aim of the week was to create awareness around mental health, promote health and wellbeing, as well as adding to the positive atmosphere of the school. There were many activities organised in Scoil Dara as part of ‘European Day of Languages’ at the end of September. Some of the activities included students making announcements in their native language; sampling food from some of the students native countries; making posters with greetings in various languages; competitions, quizzes, games, songs, movies, presentations, discussions in various languages and much more!
